Jianhui LIAN

I am now a postdoc in the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation, University of Portsmouth. I graduated from Xiamen University in 2011 to get my bachelor degree of Physics and then studied astrophysics for five years in University of Science and Technology of China and got my PhD there.

Research Interests:
My current research interest mainly lies in understanding the chemical evolution of external galaxies and our Milky Way from both an observational and an theoretical angle. Besides, I am also interested in the star formation history of galaxies, especially the quenching process, and galaxy structure from deep and high spatial resolution photometry.
